Vera...
Just imagine Vera, I had a brief exchange of greetings with you. Brief indeed but endearing, a greeting that left deep roots in me... one day when I myself was missing my grandmother. Yes, that grandmother who looked after me and made sure that I had the basic rules of education. You know, Vera? My grandmother taught me tobe grateful for life and to never give up, despite what it was and whoever I thought. That grandmother of mine was great, she bought me my first guitar and, look at me, now I'm a Rock musician... thanks to my grandmother, who by the way didn't exactly love Rock music.
Vera, it was just a brief exchange of greetings that represented a smile from you that I will never forget. A smile marked with gold, here in my heart. It's incredible how your magic reached me, Vera. It is incredible how your beloved granddaughter, my dearest Ksiwsha, feels so proud of you, for her you are in her soul, in her being, in her essence. Vera, how much
Ksiwsha, my little Muscovite, misses you.
Ksiwsha, my little Muscovite, misses you.
I look at the sky and it seems to have the same sadness that I feel for your departure. I think of your granddaughter, of your family, I think of the memory in your honor that my own personal pain wants to make known to the world. You fulfilled your mission and it is up to Our Lord to receive you at his side.
There remains here in my soul a void that hurts but your smile also remains here in my heart. To my Ksiwsha and your family I express all my support if they want to cry on my shoulder. There remains the example that you left and the path that you walked.
Vera... in your honor, a flower, a sigh, a thought and an eternal memory... the inspiring memory of your courage in life
Thank you Vera, for a little of your magic
